What is it about our homes?

So while the girls were away at camp we had a visitor to our yard. I say to our yard because he did NOT come inside. One night late, Brian heard something on the back porch, he looks out the curtain of the french doors from the bed room and sees a MAN looking in the other set of french doors at me on the computer. I was facebooking or something, had the lights on and was not looking at the window, I never saw him. He comes rushing in and ran out to the garage gets the shot gun and loads it and hits the garage door button. He sees the man running across the yard and exiting from the back gate, that we have never even had open. So now we have to go talk to the little old lady who lives behind us and find out if she minds if we put a lock on that gate. So anyway it creeped me out. I am here lots of times on my own and I don't like the thought of someone just watching me, what if Brian wasn't here and he just walked on in, I might have had to HURT him. You know what I mean. Anyway this is not the first time someone has tried to break into one of our homes. Last year, someone came in the house and used our computer to look at porn websites. I found that lovely and Brian looked it up on the history and it happened while we were at church. So we put a password on the computer and looked for anything that was missing, nothing was, guess he was a perve not a theif. At the time we thought it was the neighbors kids or grandkids but now I'm not sure, maybe that was what the Man was doing looking for some internet. At the old house someone tried to break in while we were there (stupid kids) Brian scared the pee out of them with his shot gun that time. He heard them in the yard and went out the front door and snuck around the corner and they were attempting to climb in a high window and all he did was cock the shot gun and they yelled OH sh-- and took off. Brian very gleefully told me he thought he could smell urine over by that window! Then when we lived in Barnsdall, Brian's bike got stolen from the garage. And of course when we lived in Tahlequah, We had the guy that kept comming and leaving his girly magazines hidden in his back room. I know what your thinking, some of you who don't know my husband may think, those might have been his. But he is the one who kept finding them and bringing them to me. I mean if they were his would he be that stupid? No, he would not. Any how we kept finding them and figured a kid was using the back room for privacy, and we forgot to lock the back door because the front one locks automatically. Anyhow, one day when I return from working at the Sirloin, I came home and was sitting on the couch, just resting and watching TV, the phone rang and as I answered it I saw a shadow pass under the door to the back room. On the phone was Brian and I told him I thought someone was back there, he said get out, so I grabbed the gun out of the hiding place and took off out the front door. Brian must have broke all kinds of speed records because he was there at our apartment like with in 7 minutes. He went up to the apartment and found a magazine open on the floor of the backroom and the back door wide open. Brian figures it scared the kid when he heard me answer the phone and he took off. Anyway it was the last time. So we are being very security conscience and checking doors and things and I am going to make some curtains for the second set of french doors. We have curtains on the bedroom ones but not the family room ones.

WOW! Be certain to file a police report so that if anyone else has problems they can establish a pattern!
